This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use our website at https://www.phoenixoffshore.co/ (the “Site”), subscribe to our communications, submit forms, or otherwise interact with us.

2) Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide
- Contact details: full name, email address, phone number.
- Professional information: resumes/CVs, LinkedIn or portfolio links, application materials.
- Marketing preferences: email and (future) SMS opt-ins.
- User-generated content: testimonials, recorded calls, video/audio submissions (collected with your consent).
- Payment information: processed by third-party processors (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full card details on our systems.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Usage/Device data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referring URLs, timestamps.
- Analytics & pixels: via Google Analytics and Meta Ads (see “Cookies & Tracking” below).
3) How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Site and our services.
- Respond to inquiries, evaluate candidates, and manage client/candidate relationships.
- Send marketing emails and (in the future) SMS messages with your consent (you can opt out anytime).
- Measure and improve performance, including analytics and troubleshooting.
- Process payments/invoices via third-party payment processors.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
4) Legal Bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)
Where EU/UK data protection law applies, we process personal data based on: (i) consent (e.g., subscriptions, submissions), (ii) contractual necessity, (iii) legitimate interests (e.g., security, analytics, improving services), and (iv) legal obligations.
No EU/UK Targeting; No Article 27 Representative: Phoenix Offshore does not actively target or market to individuals in the EEA or UK and therefore has not appointed an EU/UK representative under GDPR Article 27. We do not operate large-scale monitoring or process special-category data, and thus are not required to appoint a DPO.
5) Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our Site may use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies. We currently use (or may use):
- Google Analytics for aggregated usage metrics and Site performance.
- Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) pixels for measurement and remarketing (see below).
- Spam prevention tools (e.g., reCAPTCHA or equivalent) to protect forms.

Remarketing

Do Not Track (DNT) & Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Phoenix Offshore does not currently respond to DNT or GPC signals because we do not sell or share personal data for targeted advertising. We may update this stance if regulations or our practices change.
6) Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information with:
- Service providers / processors who assist with hosting, analytics, email delivery, payments, forms, and operations—e.g., Squarespace, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Beehiiv, Klaviyo, Stripe, Google Workspace/Drive, and similar vendors. These providers are bound by data processing terms and may only process data on our instructions.
- Professional advisors and legal authorities where required by law or necessary to protect our rights.
7) International Processing
We are U.S.-based. Vendor processing may occur outside your state or country (including outside the U.S.). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards provided by our vendors’ standard contractual or processing terms.
8) Data Retention
- Resumes & applicant materials: retained for up to 48 months unless deletion is requested sooner.
- Marketing/contact data: retained while you remain subscribed or as needed for business/legal purposes.
- Analytics data: retained per our analytics providers’ default/selected settings and business needs.
9) Your Rights
A. GDPR/UK GDPR
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and may withdraw consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
B. California (CCPA/CPRA – Voluntary Compliance)
Phoenix Offshore does not meet the thresholds that make it subject to CCPA/CPRA and does not sell or share personal information. In the interest of transparency, we voluntarily honor reasonable requests from California residents to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.
C. CalOPPA
We publicly post this Privacy Policy and link to it from our Site. You may review and request updates to your personal information by contacting rami@phoenixoffshore.co.
D. How to Exercise Rights & Identity Verification
Submit requests to rami@phoenixoffshore.co. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity, such as confirming control of your email address or asking for limited additional details to locate your records.
E. Appeals (Voluntary)
If we deny your privacy-related request, you may email us to appeal. We will review the decision in good faith and respond within a reasonable period.
10) Email & SMS Communications
Email: We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails or by contacting us.
SMS (future): If/when enabled, we will obtain your express consent. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP. Message & data rates may apply. Frequency varies.
11) Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted transmission (SSL), access controls, and secure hosting through Squarespace and Google Workspace. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12) Children’s Privacy
Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
13) Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites/services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal information.

We may update this Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g., on the Site or via email to subscribers).
